A ship was destroyed in the Atlantic Ocean by an unexpected storm. Boxes full of documents, a written journal and tangible stories opened and spilled along the surface of the water. The ship began to sink, pulling these pages down with it. Papers surfaced to the top as the winds continued their speed. Large waves crashed into each other as the storm grew in strength. The winds changed direction and waves dispersed heading towards land, carrying the remains of a cardboard box, and smudged documents. At their destination, they washed up on the shore and dried in the sunlight. The ink was washed away or smeared by the ocean so that nothing is legible. This is the process of life. Nature breaks down organic and inorganic material. With time, material can decay and form into microscopic nutrients that serve the purpose for new life to thrive and grow. |
